CGD Awarded Spot On US Air Force Training System Acquisition III Contract

Will Compete In Unrestricted Pool For Work Totalling $21 Billion

Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation has been awarded a spot on the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Training System Acquisition (TSA) III contract, in the large business “unrestricted pool” by Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Training Systems Product Group. The estimated ceiling of the contract is $20.9 billion for task orders to be completed over the next 10 years.

Under this contract, Cubic Global Defense will compete for individual task orders to perform design, development, production, installation, analysis, integration, test and sustainment services under USAF’s Training Systems Acquisition III program.

“This award is a major opportunity for Cubic Global Defense to demonstrate our worldwide leadership in military training systems and services, and expand our presence in critical U.S. Air Force training requirements,” said Bill Toti, president of Cubic Global Defense.

The Cubic TSA III team will be led by the Cubic Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) location, teamed with divisions across CGD’s Centers of Excellence. The WPAFB location was established in November 2012 in order to further the company’s competitiveness in the USAF training area.
