Raisbeck Offering 5-Blade CF Prop STC for King Air 300-360

Carbon Fiber Hartzell Prop is Quieter, Faster, and Lighter than OEM

Raisbeck Engineering has received an STC for the installation of a 5-blade Hartzell turbofan prop on heavyweight King Air 300, 350, and 360 series aircraft.

The installation will provide King Air operators with enhanced aircraft performance, particularly in the landing and takeoff phases of flight. Reduced noise levels in the terminal environment, increased cruise speed, and improved stoppage also round out a bevy of promised enhancements. The props feature 5 swept carbon fiber blades with nickel cobalt leading edges, offering unlimited blade life and a 54-lb weight savings over the OEM prop they replace. The new propeller is supported by a 6-year 4,000 hour TBO warranty (which may vary by package, installation, some are 3-year/3,000 hours). The King Air market is always happy to see a new STC, especially so when it applies to the ‘heavyweight’ 16,500 lb aircraft. Raisbeck’s new offering joins previous Beechcraft STCs, like a similar upgrade for 15,000-lb King Air 300s.

"We are thrilled to have received STC approval from the FAA for our revolutionary propeller design," said Hal Chrisman, President of Raisbeck Engineering. "Our team has worked tirelessly to extend the benefits offered by our five-blade composite propellers to operators in diverse roles requiring heavyweight aircraft such as Air Ambulance and ISR. These props are quieter and lighter, improve performance, last forever, and they look awesome on the ramp! I am confident it will be a winner for both our customers and Raisbeck."
