Airborne-NextGen 06.06.23: Boeing Buys Wisk, Autel Robotics, FAA Drone Symposium

Boeing has acquired full ownership of Wisk Aero, the California-based, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) joint-venture undertaken by Boeing and Kitty Hawk Corporation. 

Kitty Hawk’s sale of its stake in Wisk follows the company’s 2022 decision to abandon work on its aviation and aerospace ventures and gradually shutter its operations in their entirety. Autel Robotics is making ready to showcase its wares at the upcoming 7th Annual Energy Drone & Robotics Summit. The event will see Autel debut Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) the likes of its transportation and delivery optimized Titan model, and a new Enterprise series drone dubbed the Autel Alpha. The FAA’s Eighth Annual Drone Symposium and inaugural AAM Summit will be held at Maryland’s Baltimore Convention Center. The Drone Symposium will span the entirety of Tuesday, 01 August as well as the morning of Wednesday, 02 August 2023. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne-NextGen!!!
