Peter White Appointed New Airshow London Board Chair

Has Served On Board Since 2017

Airshow London announced the appointment of Peter White as its new Board Chair effective immediately, succeeding Jim Graham who has held the position since its inaugural event under this name in 2016 after pausing for more than a decade.

White brings to his role much experience in strategic planning and community engagement, attributes that enhance his ability to guide Airshow London’s commitment to nurturing strong partnerships and improving the show’s entertainment value.

During his time as Board Chair, Graham introduced initiatives that broadened the visibility and appeal of the show. A major innovation was the debut of the SkyDrive format, where guests drive into the airport to pre-assigned spots and can watch the airshow from their cars. This earned recognition and praise from fans around the world and helped Airshow London become one of North America’s premier air show events.

White said, "It’s truly an honour to step into this role and carry forward the incredible work that has been done so far. I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated team to not only push boundaries and continue delivering top-tier aviation entertainment, but also in supporting local organizations.”

He continued, “Last year alone, we proudly supported key partners like Children’s Health Foundation, YXU Plane Spotting Park, Western University, Hope Air, among many others, reflecting our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact well beyond the airfield.”

Holly Doty, Executive Director of Airshow London said, "We appreciate Jim’s leadership over the past ten years and are thrilled to welcome Peter as our new Board Chair. Jim will continue to support our success on the board as Past Chair while Peter’s proven dedication to the organization, combined with his strategic perspective, will help us continue to deliver a world-class aviation experience.”

Airshow London is held annually at the London International Airport (IATA: YXU, ICAO: CYXU) in London, Ontario, Canada.
