Delta Air Lines President Ed Bastian (pictured) will be the featured guest speaker at the regular bi-monthly meeting of the Atlanta Aero Club scheduled for February 16th. Bastian will address the challenges Delta faces operating in a global economy.

Prior to his appointment as President, Bastian served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, positions he held beginning in 2005.  In this role, he and his team oversaw and coordinated the company's strategy from network planning and revenue management to sales, marketing, and business development.

Bastian joined Delta in 1998 as Vice President of Finance and Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2000. In that role, he had responsibility for the divisional finance organizations, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting and the company's profit improvement initiatives.

The meeting is scheduled for Noon on February 16th in the Grand Ballroom of the Capital City Club in downtown Atlanta.
