Alto Aviation Announces New Cabin Equipment

New 3D Audio, Galley Touch Panels Released

Alto Aviation, maker of premium cabin audio systems, amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers,  has unveiled its latest addition to their lineup, the ALTO Soundstage.

Described as the company’s most immersive 3D Sound System, it provides owners and operators with a stereo system just as good as what they might have at home, and, they believe, maybe even better.

Alto promises a tall order:  A custom tuned and laid out audio system tailored for each specific installation. With speakers carefully spread throughout the cabin, placed for maximum sound quality, clarity, and response, listeners can enjoy surround-sound at any seat on the plane.  Compact, lightweight subwoofers squirreled away beneath seats and bulkheads provide ample bass for low-end impact.  For movie buffs tired of needing captions during the quiet scenes, Alto’s Class-D amplifier processes the signal so the listener will enjoy powerful, coherent, high-fidelity sound, but still be able to hear every soft-spoken word without cranking the volume.

Now, they say they’ve bested their previous top-flight equipment with room to spare. “With Alto Soundstage, we have gone beyond our flagship Front Row, Center Stage Alto Surround Sound, providing soundstage concert hall quality, the highest standard in 3D immersive audio in business aviation. This sound system is ideal for a credenza-mounted video monitor across a luxury divan in medium, large, and VVIP business jets, making passengers feel like they stepped on stage. I’m confident that we will exceed the most demanding acoustic expectations” said Steve Scarlata, VP Engineering, R&D at Alto.
