Speakers, Agenda Set For 2-Day Event August 31-September 1

The 4th annual Safety Show-Down event of the North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA) set for August 31st and September 1st has been certified by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) to be a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) accredited program, allowing attendees to receive CAM credit for participating in the event.

The NTBAA annual safety event expanded to a 2-day format this year and includes more general and breakout sessions presented by well-known industry experts as well as plenty of time for networking with other aviation professionals.

Attendees participating in the informative presentations will also have an opportunity to learn more about various aviation products and services from Show-Down exhibitors. The program will begin on Day 1 with lunch at 12 noon and then keynote speaker, Peter v. Agur, Jr. will present The Power of Personal Professionalism, followed by several breakout sessions. Wednesday evening will include a new type of Golf event at the local Topgolf facility where participants will dine, network and compete for awards by hitting golf balls at 18 different bays.

The following day will be filled with more general and break-out sessions presented by several outstanding professionals including the Honorable Robert Sumwalt with the NTSB, Scott A. Moore, CAM, ACC, CSC, and President of Moore Life Leadership, and Kristopher Cannon, Aviation Director for Gavin de Becker and Associates. In addition to being CAM credit approved, the numerous presentations will appeal to all business aviation professionals, including Pilots, Flight Attendants, Technicians, Schedulers and Administrators.
