Aviation Safety Resources Receives ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification

'Full Product Line Of Whole-Aircraft Emergency Recovery Parachute Systems Is Seeing Growing Acceptance'

Aviation Safety Resources recently noted that it has passed an ISO 9001:2015 registration audit and is now qualified under the high-level ISO standard.

“We have focused on ensuring our quality system performs at the highest level and this qualification solidifies our commitment to meeting our customers’ quality requirements,” said Larry Williams, ASR president and CEO. “Our full product line of whole-aircraft emergency recovery parachute systems is seeing growing acceptance as standard equipment within a wide range of aerospace applications including fixed wing aircraft, advanced vertical take-off and landing vehicles and unmanned aerial systems.

ASR has a well-established market presence due to significant experience in design, engineering, testing, and manufacturing of whole airframe recovery systems which can safely bring down an entire aircraft and its occupants in the event of an in-air emergency. This designation further recognizes our investments in our quality systems, our people and our customers.”

ASRis based in Nicholasville, Ky. It designs, tests and produces whole aircraft emergency recovery parachute systems designed to safely bring down the entire aircraft and its occupants in the event of an in-air emergency. Staffed by a team of experienced aviation professionals, ASR reports that it is the first to offer the next generation of whole-aircraft recovery systems and the first system specifically designed for the vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicles of Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
