More Good News For Flyers: TCM Lowers Engine Prices

Yeah... We'll Take All The News We Can Get, Like This!

Ready for some good news? Teledyne Continental Motors, Inc. tells ANN that it has lowered the Genuine Continental Retail Price (GCRP) on its complete line of Aftermarket Factory New and Factory Rebuilt Engines.

Engine prices, effective May 7, 2009, will be lowered by as much as $1500 for Factory New and up to $1200 for Factory Rebuilt. "Continental Motors has worked very hard to improve the cost structure of our factory," said Rhett Ross, TCM President.

"Today, we pass those savings on to our customers, ensuring that at TBO, TCM has the best product, at the best quality to deliver the best value to the aircraft owner," Ross added.

This is the second aggressive pricing action that TCM has taken since the beginning of 2009. In January, TCM introduced their Genuine Continental Retail Price (GCRP) initiative that reduced engine prices by up to 10%. GCRP is a simplified pricing structure that allows for clear value comparisons between factory engines and field overhauled engines.
