Meridian Helicopters Signs Long Term Lease Agreement

Will Provide A Bell 206L4 For Credi Express – Nicaragua

Looking to international markets for additional lease customers, Meridian Helicopters provided a Bell 206L4 to a Nicaraguan private operator in the first quarter of 2016. Terms include an option to purchase the aircraft or renew after two years.

“Our entrance into international leasing markets has been a long thought out approach” comments Michael Bashlor – Managing Partner of Meridian Helicopters. “Latin and South America presented a growing market need for private aircraft operations. Our objective is to continue to send aircraft for lease to this area of the world.”

Delivered to Credi Express, the Bell 206L4 is outfitted with the latest in completion equipment and avionics targeted for the private operator. I had very specific equipment and kit requirements for an aircraft” stated Camillo Chamorrow, CEO of Credi Express. “Meridian Helicopters accommodated all of my requests and rose to the challenge to meet my delivery requirements despite all of the new installations. They have committed to additional mobile support for the aircraft which will further reduce my operating costs.

Bashlor continues, "The private operator demands different attributes in an aircraft. Our team attracts new customers with the perspective of completing the aircraft for the recipient exactly tailored to their requirements. In this aircraft we installed an air conditioning system, state of the art audio with Bluetooth from Garmin matched with a Bose headset and sound system.”

Meridian Helicopters has a Bell 206L3 on display this year in the static booth area (Booth 21) at Heli-Expo in Louisville, KY. They ask that any interested party or enthusiast stop in and say hello.
