US Bank Expands Fleet Service With Corporate Aviation Fuel Card

US Bank, a subsidiary of US Bancorp, says it has agreed to purchase the aviation business of Multi Service, a Kansas-based provider of aviation and trucking credit card services. Approximately 100 Multi Service staff members will become employees of US Bank as part of the acquisition. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

V-22 Cleared to Begin Operational Evaluation

The Operational Evaluation (OPEVAL) testing program for the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey has now been approved. On February 24, Tom Laux, the Program Executive Officer for Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault, and Special Mission Programs, certified that the V-22 Osprey aircraft is ready for operational testing and evaluation.

Admiral Lost Confidence In Captain

The Navy announced Tuesday that Rear Admiral James W. Stevenson Jr., commander, Carrier Strike Group 12, relieved Captain Mark E. Mills of his command of Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1). Stevenson said the reason was "loss of confidence in the ability to command."
