Air Sahara Inks Avionics Agreement With Rockwell Collins

To Be Installed On B-737s

Air Sahara, a private airline in India, has picked Rockwell Collins to provide avionics for three Boeing 737NG aircraft with deliveries scheduled to begin this year.

Among the products selected by Air Sahara is the Rockwell Collins Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), an integrated unit that provides the aircraft's primary position, velocity and time reference, and enables precision landing capability.

Other Rockwell Collins equipment chosen by Air Sahara includes the ADF-900 Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900D High Frequency System, CPL-920D Coupling Unit, LRA-900 Low-range Radio Altimeter, VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Radio, VHF-920 Very High Frequency Transceiver, PAU-700 Passenger Address Unit, TPR-901 Mode S Transponder, TTR-921 Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System and TRE-920 Directional Antenna.
