ONE Aviation Announces Workforce Reduction

Phasing Out Production Of EA550 Airplanes

ONE Aviation has announced a workforce reduction as it begins to phase out production of the EA550 series.  The company remains focused on the development of the EA700 series ‘project Canada’ aircraft introduced earlier this year.

ONE Aviation is committed to continue providing the highest standard of service and support for current EA500/EA550 owners through its global service and distribution network.

“We are proud to serve customers through a network of company-owned service centers as well as Authorized Platinum and Gold Service Centers in the U.S. and overseas.  As we transition through the development stages of the highly anticipated EA700 series we made the very difficult, yet necessary, decision to reduce our work force,” said CEO Alan Klapmeier. “I would like to extend my thanks to the hardworking individuals affected by this action for their many contributions to date.  I would also like to thank our remaining employees for their commitment to our success as we move forward with the development of the EA700.”

ONE Aviation recently announced the successful completion of its first flight of the proof-of-concept wing for the EA700. The Company continues to explore strategic partnerships and investment in the future growth of the EA700 series.
