China Aviation Investment Group Limited Debuts 'World Aviation City'

Project Announced At NBAA2014 In Orlando Last Week

A project called "World Aviation City" was detailed by the China Aviation Investment Group last week at NBAA2014. By integrating high-end tourism and the manufacturing and service industries, the project aims to innovate with an unprecedented aviation exhibition model, build comprehensive and diversified concepts, and provide customers with the world's leading aviation services.

"World Aviation City" would be the first comprehensive and diversified aviation exhibition. CAIG hopes it will become an aviation industry base with the world's largest scale, most complete business types and most concentrated facilities. It would be an "all-year-round professional aviation exhibition which combines activity and tranquility," and builds itself into an everlasting "aviation exhibition." Moreover, it sets a precedent by combining the aviation industry with fashion business, endowment and health, and tourism and entertainment.

The project plans to take aviation exhibition, sales exhibition of aircraft and spare parts, corporate aircraft FBO hub service, bonded warehousing of aircraft spare parts and aviation training as the core, and develop an integrated and comprehensive "aviation demonstration park" incorporating air passenger and freight transportation, general aviation, manufacturing and maintenance, aviation logistics, aviation finance, tourism, property, internet, film and entertainment. It has nine sub-regions, including general aviation base, international aviation exhibition center, aviation education base, aviation production base, aviation trade market, aviation museum, fashion village with international features, aviation business service cluster, and ecological community.

Total planned area of "World Aviation City" is 3 square miles with investment totaling $8.2 billion. After establishment, it would be able to receive 10 million tourists, and hundreds of thousands of new business visitors.

On October 16th, China Aviation Investment Group Limited signed an official agreement with Ordos (China) People's Government, setting direction for the signed projects and future strategic cooperation. CAIG says that some projects are already under construction.
