“This contract extension is significant for the TSA pilots. Our last round of negotiations that resulted in our current contract took more than five years, so we are pleased that this contract extension has been reached just three weeks after our contract’s amendable date.”

Source: Capt. Zach Barnes, chairman of the Trans States Airlines Master Executive Council (MEC), the TSA branch of ALPA, following their reaching a tentative agreement on a contract extension with TSA management that includes gains in economics and work rules.
