Horizon International Flight Academy Orders Frasca Helicopter Sim

Will Accommodate Training In Multiple Scenarios

Horizon International Flight Academy LLC, UAE has placed an order with Frasca International for a Bell 407 FNPT II. The simulator will be configured as the Bell 407 Helicopter and will feature Dual G500, Dual G430 and Frasca’s TruVision visual system with 6 channel (200° x 68°) projected display system and custom database featuring the Al Ain International Airport.

The simulator will perform in a multi-role capacity. During the general handling and emergency procedure phase, Instructors will be able to demonstrate every task from pre-start/start to flight maneuvering and shut-down. Along with this, it will also allow demonstration of emergencies and their corresponding procedures for a safe recovery of the aircraft. During the instrument phase it will allow for a comprehensive IMC/IFR learning environment with realism. The true value of the simulator in all roles is the ability to “freeze” the scenario for on-the-spot correction and feedback.

“Horizon International Flight Academy is excited about our decision to add the Frasca Bell 407 FNPT II into the training mix. The addition of this truly valuable flight training device will significantly enhance our current Bell 407 flight training. Its value will become apparent on day 1.” Michael Campbell – Military Programs, Program Manager.
