The San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show Announces 2019 Performer Lineup

USAF F-35 Demonstration Team To Make Its San Francisco Fleet Week Debut

The San Francisco Fleet Week Association is pleased to announce the performer lineup for The 2019 San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show Presented By United.

The show, produced by The Air Show Network, will take place over three days on October 11th, 12th and 13th with the world-famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels as the headline act.

In its inaugural year, F-35 Demonstration Team will be making its Bay Area debut, showcasing the most advanced air power of the U.S. Air Force. "Being one of only 16 shows in North America to host the F-35 is testimony to the Fleet Week brand and the recognized excellence of our Air Show by the military and fans alike," said Jim Breen, President of The Air Show Network.

United will fly the 777, its most advanced airplane in its fleet, in a 15-minute choreographed performance flying as low as 500 feet. San Francisco Fleet Week is the only air show in the United States with commercial airliner as a featured act. "Fleet Week is a huge community event. We are so proud to have United as the presenting sponsor, showing its strong commitment to San Francisco, the U.S. Military and our nation's veterans," said Lewis Loeven, Executive Director of San Francisco Fleet Week Association.

"As California's global airline, we are thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of the San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show," said Janet Lamkin, United's president of California. "San Francisco Fleet Week has a long history with our customers and our more than 14,000 employees in the Bay Area and we are looking forward to showing our continued support for veterans, aviation enthusiasts, and our community."

For the first time at San Francisco Fleet Week, Sean D. Tucker and Jessy Panzer of the U.S. Advanced Aerobatic Team will perform in Team Oracle's Two Ship Act. Additional air show performers include The Patriots Jet Team Sponsored by United, Lucas Oil's Mike Wiskus, The U.S. Navy Parachute Team (The Leap Frogs), a C-130, a U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight, demonstrations by P-3 and P-8 and a U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo.

The Festival Center on Marina Green offers prime viewing at the center point of the show. Premium Box Seat Tickets, VIP Flight Deck Club Tickets, and Private Chalets are available while supplies last at fleetweeksf.org/tickets. General admission to the Festival Center is free.
