PS Engineering Digital Audio System Installed In Falcon 2000

West Star Aviation Performs Flight Deck Upgrade

PS Engineering announced on October 23 at NBAA-BACE 2024 that its PAC45J Digital Audio Management System has been installed in a Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft in combination with Universal Avionics InSight flight deck.

West Star Aviation performed the cockpit update with the PAC45J Audio System which included three CTL45J control heads and a remote mounted hub HUB45A digital audio router. The system provides the pilot, copilot, and a third observer position with independent transmit and receive capability.

The Gunship Grey CTL45J control heads have individual selection over eight COM radios and eight NAV audio sources. Up to four control heads can be connected with the system if necessary.

As in all PS Engineering Digital Audio Systems, the HUB45A is the central wiring location for all audio signals. Each CTL45J control head is interfaced with a basic RS-422 serial cable bus, enabling a much easier wiring process than analog audio systems.

West Star is now taking reservations for audio system upgrades including the PS Engineering PAC45 Digital Audio System.

PS Engineering has become a principal manufacturer of audio control systems for both general aviation and special mission applications. The company has been an innovator in retrofit avionics, having been the first to introduce the IRS™ Internal Recording System and Bluetooth™ in audio control systems. PS Engineering has a network of more than authorized dealers/installers around the world.
