Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Selects Becker DVCS6100

Digital Audio Panel To Be Installed In New Bell 407GX

Becker Avionics announced today that the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Florida, has selected the DVCS6100 digital airborne audio control panel system for its new Bell 407GX helicopter.

The aircraft is currently being outfitted with a law enforcement completion package at Bell Helicopter’s facility in Piney Flats, Tennessee. The new Bell 407GX is equipped with the Garmin G1000H integrated glass-panel avionics system.

The Becker DVCS6100 was chosen by the Palm Beach Aviation Unit due to its unique ability to effectively manage and control all audio sources in the aircraft. Becker’s Digital multi-channel audio and intercom system, with its software configurable profiles, provides the flexibility to specifically customize the system to meet the demanding operational requirements of airborne Law Enforcement organizations.

Brett Gardner, Director of Sales and Marketing at Becker stated, "Once again, we’re excited that another airborne law enforcement agency has selected our DVCS6100 product. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s department is a vibrant and active agency with a demanding mission profile and we are very happy they PBSO decided to equip their new Bell 407GX helicopter with our digital ICS. Palm Beach County is joining the growing number of airborne law enforcement agencies that have selected the Becker DVCS6100 for their demanding mission profiles, and we are grateful for their trust and commitment to our product.”
