Christopher Goodman has been appointed president of Avanti Unmanned Systems. Prior to his appointment as President of Avanti Unmanned Systems, Goodman was Senior Business Strategist at Blue Sky Innovations Group. Before joining BSIG, he was CMO for a technology holding company, Social Sector Ventures.

“Chris’ talents and experiences with high-technology production management and go-to-market strategy development will be especially beneficial as Avanti Unmanned Systems makes its way in the diverse and rapidly evolving unmanned systems markets,” said Timothy T. (Tim) Archer, CEO of Avanti Blue Sky Innovations Group. “In addition, he has considerable knowledge of the requirements of high-quality, ISO 9001, manufacturing, which will be especially helpful as we develop programs for companies manufacturing high-reliability systems for the various unmanned markets.”

“This is a tremendous opportunity to get in on the ground floor of, what I believe will be one of the true growth businesses of the next 20-years,” Goodman said. “Unmanned systems of all shapes, sizes and capabilities are beginning to revolutionize many of today’s industries, as well as creating a variety of new business models previously unseen in those industries.”

“Our goal is to position Avanti Unmanned Systems products and services to provide significant advantages to meet the unique needs of the rapidly-growing industrial-grade unmanned systems markets,” he said. “This is an exceptional, and highly-exciting time for me personally, and everyone involved in this emerging new segment of business.”
