Bombardier Set To Launch Its New Global Aircraft Family

Details Are Being Kept Under Wraps Until NBAA Convention In Atlanta

Bombardier Aerospace announced Thursday that its Board of Directors has given the official go-ahead to launch the expanded Global aircraft family. Aircraft details of the new Global aircraft family will be revealed at the NBAA convention and exhibition. The launch event will be held at the Bombardier Pavilion located in the NBAA static display park, at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport, on Monday, October 18.

“Our commitment to offer innovative new products goes beyond being the industry leader,” said Guy C. Hachey, President and Chief Operating Officer, Bombardier Aerospace. “Bombardier has a solid product development strategy that combines advanced technologies with environmental responsibility. Our intention is to grow our leadership position and the time is right to move forward with our extended Global aircraft family.”

"The Global aircraft family will build upon the existing successful Global 5000 and Global Express XRS jets in the large business aircraft category,” said Steve Ridolfi, President, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “We are focused on introducing aircraft that maximize efficiency while offering ultimate flexibility for our customers. They demand the best the world has to offer and Bombardier Global business aircraft deliver. We look forward to sharing more details about this exciting aircraft family with everyone at our launch event.”
