GAMA Announces New Member And Associate Member Companies

Raisbeck Engineering Becomes A Full Member Of The Association

GAMA has announced the addition of seven companies to its membership: Raisbeck Engineering, Ampaire, AVIAGE, Robotic Skies, SkyRyse, Volocopter and ZeroAvia.

“We are proud to have a long established and highly respected company like Raisbeck Engineering join as a full member company,” said GAMA President and CEO Pete Bunce. “We’re also excited to welcome six companies to our associate membership, a category we created in 2015 to represent companies engaged in the rapidly growing and revolutionary sector of general aviation vehicle design and maintenance focusing on electric and hybrid propulsion coupled with simplified vehicle operations.”

Raisbeck Engineering is owned by Acorn Growth Companies, a private equity firm investing exclusively in Aerospace, Defense and Intelligence. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, the company develops, markets and manufactures worldwide-certified performance improvement systems for some of the most prolific commercial and general aviation aircraft models in the market today.

Associate Members include:

Ampaire, Inc.
Ampaire, Inc., based in Los Angeles, California, is developing electric airplanes that will enable all-electric commercial flights which will be affordable, quiet and environmentally friendly.

AVIAGE
AVIAGE is a joint venture between GE and AVIC that is focused on the development of new avionics and aircraft systems. Based in Shanghai, China, the company’s aircraft systems will serve the emerging aviation mobility market.

Robotic Skies
Robotic Skies, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is developing a network of worldwide certified repair stations focused on emerging unmanned aviation systems and urban mobility.

SkyRyse
SkyRyse, based in Hayward, California, is working to enable aviation mobility through the introduction of a network of aircraft that include new cockpit technologies making flying safer and easier.

Volocopter
Volocopter, headquartered in Bruchsal, Germany, was one of the earliest developers of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, with the company’s all-electric multi-copter designs. Volocopter is developing a global network of aircraft and infrastructure to enable new forms of aviation mobility.

ZeroAvia
ZeroAvia, headquartered in Hollister, California, is developing a propulsion system in the hybrid-electric propulsion space.
