Piper Appoints Dealer for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia

Company Began As An Aviation Blog And Grew To A Social Network Which Now Provides Aviation Services

Piper has named WingsOverAsia Pte. Ltd., as its dealer for the sales of new aircraft in a large portion of Asia, encompassing Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

WingsOverAsia, with offices in Singapore, began as an online blog and grew into an aviation social network, headed by principal Yeow Meng Ng, who will lead the organization's sales program. The organization now provides various aviation services, including parts and maintenance, in addition to its social media communications.

"WingsOverAsia has the reach and passion throughout Southeastern Asia to become a dominant player in the sales of new Piper airplanes in this area of the world," said Piper Vice President Sales and Marketing Drew McEwen. "I am pleased that Yeow Meng Ng has agreed to be Piper's agent in the area."

"Indonesia's fast-paced growth, Malaysia's emerging multisector economy, and Singapore's highly developed and successful free market economy all offer great opportunities to grow general aviation," said Yeow Meng Ng. "WingsOverAsia is delighted to be able to represent a company of Piper's global reputation in this region."

WingsOverAsia (WOA) is Asia's first aviation social network platform and aviation concierge service for private aircraft owners, pilots and enthusiasts. Its hardworking and dynamic team employs a grassroots approach to service and executes operations and projects with enterprise-like processes. WOA provides customer-centric aviation services for long-term sustainability. Every individual on the team is specially selected to possess a professional skill-set and a genuine desire to contribute to general aviation.
