May 21st Aviation Expo At GON

Columbia Air Services Celebrates 25th Anniversary And We're All Invited To The Party

Columbia Air Services, Inc. announced today its 25th Anniversary Aviation Expo and Open House on Saturday, May 21st, 2005 from 1100 to 1500 at Columbia's base at the Groton-New London Airport (GON). The Aviation Expo is expected to feature dozens of major aviation vendors and new aircraft including the Adam A500 composite twin-engine aircraft.

Admission is free and special fuel discounts will be offered to Aviation Expo attendees. The event will be held rain or shine, and food and beverages will be available.

The Aviation Expo will showcase "A-List" aviation industry companies featuring their latest products and services including EADS Socata, New Piper Aircraft, ATG, Avidyne, Chelton, Garmin and Honeywell/Bendix, Cessna Finance, Salem Five, Valley Commercial and Williams Grohs Insurance and others. The Aviation Expo also will feature FAA safety seminars. Aviation educators from Daniel Webster College, Dowling College and Farmingdale State University will also be present to talk about their programs.

Columbia's Open House will feature the company's new 20,000 square foot hangar, 6,000 square foot FBO building, and dedicated maintenance and avionics hangars.
