Event Provides Customers With Technical Information, Networking And Training Opportunities
Gulfstream’s biggest customer relations event, the biennial Operators and Suppliers Conference, is scheduled for June 9-12, 2014, at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. The event focuses on safety, operational issues and technical updates for all personnel involved in the operation of Gulfstream aircraft. The conference also serves as a forum for customer feedback and ideas.

“This is a tremendous event for customers and suppliers as well as the 14,000-plus Gulfstream employees, especially the nearly 500 it takes to put on the conference,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support. “If you want a comprehensive update on the state of our company and the products and services we provide, the Operators Conference is the place to be. Nearly 250 technical presentations have been prepared for the attendees.”
During the information-filled week, Gulfstream subject matter experts and company suppliers such as Honeywell, Rolls-Royce and Rockwell Collins will present maintenance, operational and technical updates geared toward maintenance personnel, pilots, cabin attendants and other business aviation-related industry employees. On display during the event will be Gulfstream’s latest tool to support customers, a specially equipped 74-foot tractor-trailer. This resource, designed to serve multiple operators simultaneously at major events such as the Daytona 500, has traveled nearly 12,000 miles since its debut in late January during Super Bowl week.
Also available at the Operators Conference will be advanced training opportunities designed to raise safety and dispatch reliability awareness. The networking opportunities the event offers for Gulfstream operators are significant as well. Other sessions at the Operators Conference will include:
- A company overview presented by president Larry Flynn
- A programs update from Dan Nale, senior vice president, Programs, Engineering and Test, Gulfstream
- An update on Gulfstream’s worldwide service and support network by Burns along with a town hall meeting-type event
- More than 50 exhibits featuring advanced technology products and services from Gulfstream and hundreds of other aviation-focused companies
Admission to the conference is free for operators.
