Liechtenstein Buys 6 H125s

Europavia Continues to Support Swiss Market with Premium Rotary Aircraft

Airbus Helicopters and its Swiss distributor nabbed a deal for half a dozen H125 helicopters for the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Europavia SA, the distributor for all Airbus helicopters throughout the Principality and Switzerland, obtained the deal by offering "swift availability of H125s" according to the manufacturer. Each aircraft will be suitably customized for use however Liechtenstein desires, delivered quicker than their competitors around the globe.

Europavia has been doing the needful throughout its purview, offering support, parts, and overhaul capabilities from its home in Bern. The firm recently will soon take delivery of a brand-new H130s, which could prove a hot commodity. The H125 family has continued to prove popular since its introduction, with 161 ordered throughout 2022. It's so popular, in fact, Airbus brags it has come to hold 63% of the "intermediate single-engine helicopter category" (phrasing narrow enough to eliminate legions of more numerous single-engine helo designs). The somewhat finessed phrasing of its market share aside, the H125 is truly popular as helicopters go: Almost 4,200 remain in operation today.

“With these orders, Europavia SA ensures a flexible availability of the H125 helicopter type within our market. The H125 is the market leader in its category and is particularly well suited to our territory, where high altitude flight with power margins is an essential requirement,” said Daniel Eggenschwiler, CEO of Europavia SA.

“This new contract underlines the long-standing partnership with Airbus, which has evolved over the past 60 years. Europavia SA, a trusted official partner of the Company, has been distributing our products and service solutions since 1962,” said Hervé Doreillac, Airbus Helicopters Sales Manager.
