Autopilot Coupled LPV STC being Amended To Include Primus 1000 Equipped Citation

JETTECH Retrofit Now Benefits Bravos, Ultras, Encores And Excels

JETTECH is amending its Garmin GTN autopilot coupled LPV FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Citation 500 series to include all Primus 1000 equipped Bravo, Ultra, Encore and Excel aircraft.

With this amended STC, JETTECH will soon offer installation data packages and AIU for its expanded line of Citation aircraft through approved Garmin authorized dealers along with a complete documentation package to support the installation process

According to Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH, the new modification is designed to provide pilots with the highest degree of situational awareness including Garmin touchscreen GTNs, autopilot coupled LPV WAAS approach, voice-activated intercom and ADS-B in and out.

Irwin said one of the most important features of the amended STC is the autopilot coupled LPV WAAS approach first made available by JETTECH on the early Citation Jets (CJs). He said this opens many airport destinations that were only served with WAAS approaches.

“Additional major equipment upgrades are included in the installation,” Irwin explained. “These upgrades include replacing the existing ‘hot mike’ audio panel with the integrated voice activated GMA 35, ADS-B in and out, satellite weather and music

In addition to the amended STC Install for 500 series Citations, JETTECH announced autopilot coupled LPV WAAS for the CJs equipped with the ProLine 21 Integrated Avionics System. Also, JETTECH owns the STC install for the Garmin G600 and GTN 650/750 touchscreen series GPS for the Citation 500 series that includes WAAS approvals. For early CJs, JETTECH’s STC covers the installation of Garmin GTN’s with coupled autopilot LPV WAAS capability.
