One Aviation Continues Development of 'Project Canada'

Eclipse 700 Will Include Garmin G3000 Avionics Suite

ONE Aviation has confirmed that the Eclipse 700, also known as 'Project Canada', will be equipped with Garmin's G3000 avionics suite.

The G3000 is a touchscreen-controlled glass flight deck designed for light turbine aircraft. A new glass touchscreen controller, the GTC, serves as the primary point of entry for the G3000 system.

The desktop-style icon-driven interface is built on a new "shallow' menu structure. The GTC enables pilots to access more systems and features with fewer keystroke or page sequences. It is totally software-based, facilitating deployment of future enhancement, applications integration and system growth without physically altering the mechanical controls.

Canada is an upgrade to the Eclipse 500/550 program. The upgraded configuration carries more fuel in a  longer wing, with two-foot extensions on each side. The fuselage was stretched 14 inches for more cabin volume. It is powered by Williams International FJ33 engines.
