Corporate Angel Network Elects Derek DeCross To Board

Signature Chief Commercial Officer With Extensive BizAv, Commercial Experience

Corporate Angel Network (CAN) announced that Derek DeCross, Chief Commercial Officer of Signature Aviation, has been elected to the Board of Directors of CAN, a nonprofit organization that utilizes corporate aircraft to provide free transportation to treatment centers for cancer patients.

Signature Aviation is an aviation service provider that operates a network of 200 private aviation terminals in 27 countries and five continents. Prior to his role at Signature, DeCross had a 25-year career in the travel and hospitality industries and held senior leadership positions at American Airlines and IHG Hotels and Resorts.

DeCross said, “Signature Aviation has been a long-time supporter of CAN, with numerous flights in and out of our terminals every year. CAN is a powerful example of how private aviation can make a meaningful difference in our communities. I'm honored to support CAN’s mission as a member of the Board of Directors and look forward to helping even more patients access the care they need.”

Jean Rosanvallon, Chairman of the Board of CAN said, “We’re delighted to welcome Derek to the Corporate Angel Network Board of Directors. His wealth of experience in business and commercial aviation will be a valuable asset as we work to take CAN to the next level.”

CAN works closely with hundreds of corporations in America to match empty seats with patient requests.

Thanks to the generous support of these companies, airlines, and donors, CAN has been able to coordinate more than 69,000 patient flights since it was founded in 1981.
