Bell Delivers New 407GXi to HALO-Flight

Completes South Texas Aeromedical Operator’s Fleet Renewal

Bell Textron hosted a special ceremony during the Air Medical Transport Conference to celebrate the delivery of a new IFR-ready Bell 407GXi to HALO-Flight of Corpus Christi, Texas. HALO-Flight has a long history with Bell, and this delivery was the final aircraft in the nonprofit aeromedical service provider’s fleet renewal.

HALO-Flight was founded in 1987 and serves a region of about 28,000 square miles across South Texas. It provides life-saving air medical transport for residents in underserved and rural communities. With its Bell helicopter fleet, the highly-trained medical and flight crews are capable of responding to emergencies that vary from simple hospital transfers to time-critical accident scenes and ensuring the most rapid transport to advanced care.

Lane Evans, Managing Director for North America Sales at Bell said, “For more than three decades, HALO-Flight has been a vital lifeline for patients in need of urgent medical care. We are proud to continue supporting their mission with aircraft that embody reliability, safety, and performance. The Bell 407GXi delivers the power and precision that emergency operators depend on every day.”

The Bell 407GXi is a highly capable aircraft for air medical transport with its advanced avionics, maneuverability, and proven reliability in demanding scenarios. It provides rapid and safe transport for critical care specialists and lifesaving equipment with its high performance engine and ample cabin space.

Travis Patterson, CEO of HALO-Flight said, “This new Bell 407GXi represents more than an aircraft, it’s an investment in the safety and health of our community. Our work with Bell ensures we can continue providing the highest standard of emergency medical response for the people who depend on us most regardless of their ability to pay.”
