HAI2009: Number 1--Bell Takes Bow For Customer Service Program

It's The 15th Consecutive Year That Bell Has Taken Top Honors

Bell Helicopter is taking a bow for accolades given them in once again having been voted number one in customer service by the readers of Professional Pilot magazine. This makes the 15th consecutive year Bell has won this top honor in the helicopter industry.

Danny Maldonado, senior vice president of Customer Support and Chief Services Officer at Bell commented, "The fact that this award is voted on by our customers' means a lot to us. The confidence they continue to show in Bell is truly humbling."

Maldonado attributed several factors to Bell's continued success. With fill rates of 92%, the company's unrelenting focus on process improvement and additional capital investments continues to pay dividends for the customer. Bell's technical support staff works 24 hours a day, every day of the year and they maintain more than $350 million in physical inventory, and over 125,000 part numbers.

"I'm extremely proud of our Bell team. It's a testament to their dedication and hard work that we have been so successful over the years," Maldonado added. This year Bell reportedly swept all seven of the rating categories, and even increased its winning margins across the board.
