Update: FAA SCREWED UP Arizona TFR Notice

You Know You're In Trouble When You Have To Check That The FAA Has Gotten Their Facts Straight...

ANN has received an urgent  notice from an FAA Staffer indicating that the TFR graphic that accompanied our original publication of TFR 5/5094 is mistaken and that pilots are busting this TFR. Checking with the FAA site, we see that the TFR depiction we had previously published is STILL depicted in RealTime. Afraid yet?

However; upon checking the National Interagency Airspace Information Website, we see that their TFR depiction is of a rectangular piece of airspace instead of the triangular depiction STILL posted on the FAA site. We are inclined to believe that the NIFC website has gotten it right and military sources seem to confirm it.

SO... here is the proper (so far as we know...) TFR Graphic depiction. But... we gotta tell tell you that when the FAA site is wrong for three days in a row on this matter, we have to worry about what else is going wrong. We hope that the FAA is not busting pilots for an improper depiction provided by Uncle Sugar...
