Elevating Women in Aviation: SUN 'n FUN Hosts Inspirational Women ACES Breakfast

Speakers Run the Gamut of Experience from Gen Z Fighter Pilots to Retired Airline Captains

The SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo, set to celebrate its 50th anniversary in April 2024, announced an event that underscores its commitment to diversity and excellence in aviation: the Women ACES Breakfast. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 7:30 A.M. in the Aerospace Pavilion, this event shines a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of women in the aviation sector.

Supported by Women In Aviation International, the Women ACES Program is dedicated to honoring the contributions of women who have blazed trails in the aviation industry. This special breakfast gathering aims to provide a platform for sharing stories, insights, and inspiration, ensuring that the future of aviation remains as diverse and dynamic as the universe it explores.

Keynote speaker Connie Tobias, a celebrated former Captain for Piedmont Airlines, will highlight the event. Tobias's illustrious career encompasses flying more than 70 different types of aircraft—from the historic 1903 Wright Flyer to the formidable F-4 Phantom Fighter Jet—and she brings over 22,000 flight hours of experience to the table. Her journey represents the extraordinary potential and passion of women in aviation.

The breakfast will also feature a distinguished panel of women in aviation, including Madison March, a USAF Officer, and Lori Cline, a female aviation pioneer. This panel, moderated by Kelly Murphy, Director of Communications and Editor-in-Chief of Aviation for Women Magazine, promises to engage and enlighten attendees with diverse perspectives and stories of achievement.

In addition to invaluable networking opportunities, the event will award two scholarships, fostering the next generation of female aviators. Guests will also receive a custom gift bag, adding a tangible memory of participating in this inspirational event.

Tickets for the Women ACES Breakfast are available in advance online for $25 per person. Limited seating ensures an intimate and impactful experience. It's important to note that this event is part of the SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo, and admission to the expo and a parking pass is required in addition to the event ticket.

Online orders will be fulfilled as E-Tickets for those interested in attending, and a confirmation email will provide all the necessary details for a seamless experience. For questions or ticket purchasing issues, attendees are encouraged to contact SUN 'n FUN's customer support.

The Women ACES Breakfast is not just an event; it's a celebration of women's enduring spirit and contributions to aviation. Join us as we honor their past, present, and future at the SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo.
