JetTech Develops Digital Engine Display Install For Citation Legacy Aircraft

STC Approval Pending for ‘Digital Engine Display’ to be Available as Retrofit

JetTech has teamed with Ultra Electronics Flightline Systems to develop a new, direct replacement, Digital Engine Display specifically for Cessna Citation 500/501/550/551/S550/560 series aircraft.

Pending FAA approval of its Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), JetTech will begin offering kits available through JetTech approved FAA Certified Repair Stations.

In making the announcement, Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JetTech, said the new one-piece unit offers the obvious benefit of digital technology and an enhanced display. It will offer digital fuel consumption reporting by connecting to existing GPS systems to give real time fuel consumption and accurate time remaining. In addition to those features, it will also automatically target fan speed for existing conditions.

The display is designed to replace the existing analog vertical tape gauges, utilizing the existing connectors and the same mounting fasteners. Installation will require minimum down time, with only minor system integrations interfacing.
