NC High School Orders ELITE RC-1 Training Device

Will Be Used By Magnet School To Train Young Aviators

ELITE Simulation Solutions announced this week T. Wingate Andrews High School in High Point, NC has finalized an order for the company's RC-1 Advanced Aviation Training Device with delivery scheduled in late April.

The trainer, configured with eight aircraft types, will be utilized within the Magnet School educational environment and provide potential future aviators to the fundamentals of flight, instrument training and light aircraft systems.

ELITE's newest FAA-approved Advanced Aviation Training Device is a complete full-featured ATD with life-size, high-resolution instruments, cockpit enclosure, instructor station, and external visual system with large-screen display as standard equipment. Customers may add an optional Garmin GNS 430/530 or connect any handheld GPS or EFB for unlimited extended training possibilities.

The RC-1 provides the same flying credits as a level 3 FTD for a fraction of the cost, ELITE says.

The mission of T. Wingate Andrews High School is to foster achievement in a caring environment which encourages responsible decision making, lifelong learning, and respect for individuals and cultural diversity.
