Silver Air Hires Doug Weiner To New VP Business Development Position

Will Be Focused On Growing Private Charter Business

Silver Air, the California-based private jet management and charter operator, has hired Doug Weiner to the new position of vice president of business development focusing on charter sales and service.

A veteran of entertainment charter, transport and cargo companies, Weiner has extensive experience in sales and worldwide jet tours. His VIP sales and service success is rooted in his deep understanding of the complex world of travel logistics. In his new role at Silver Air, he will focus on the client experience from charter to ownership and management.

"Doug has the experience, expertise and network to help Silver Air continue to increase and improve our charter sales while maintaining our high level of support and service," said Jason Middleton, Silver Air co-founder, president and CEO. "This new position is very important to our managed growth strategy, and Doug is the perfect fit."

"Silver Air is an exciting company with a great people, a growing fleet and a solid reputation," Weiner said. "I look forward to working with Silver Air's wholesale partners and extending our charter operations."

Silver Air operates out of Southern California, San Jose and its newest base of operations in Dallas serving charter clients across the country and around the world.

Silver Air's fleet features light to large-cabin jets including: Gulfstream G450, GIV-SP, GIV, Dassault Falcon 2000, Cessna Citation X, Lear 60, Beechjet 400A, Citation CJ3, Citation CJ2, and Phenom 100 models. Silver Air's charter operations have earned the ARGUS Platinum Rating for their demonstration of the industry's highest safety practices.
