CAE, Abu Dhabi Aviation Training Center Launch ERJ145 Pilot Training

Falcon Aviation Is Launch Customer

CAE and Abu Dhabi Aviation Training Center (ADATC) have announced the launch of the new Embraer ERJ145 pilot training program with Falcon Aviation at the 2017 Dubai Airshow. Together, CAE and ADA will be delivering training to Falcon Aviation's pilots and other regional operators at ADA's brand-new training facility in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, starting in the first half of 2018.

As part of the program, pilots will be training on the new CAE 7000XR Series full-flight simulator (FFS), equipped with CAE Tropos-6000XR innovative visual systems.

"Falcon Aviation has built its reputation for delivering safe, high-quality products and services and offering excellent customer service," said Capt. Ramandeep Oberoi, Chief Operating Officer of Falcon Aviation. "We are delighted that our pilots will receive a world-class training experience, synonymous to our values and promise to our customers."

"We are excited to launch our new ERJ145 pilot training program in partnership with CAE," said H.E Nadir Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation. "It is an honor to provide Falcon Aviation with best-in-class training including high-quality courseware, experienced instructors and innovative training equipment."

"After months of development, it is gratifying to officially kick-off this new training program, to support our customers, including Falcon Aviation's pilot training needs in the Middle-East," said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "In collaboration with ADA, this program highlights our dedication to provide aircraft operators with the most comprehensive training solutions."

CAE and ADA share a relationship that spans over a decade; last year, they announced the expansion of their collaboration to include CAE instructor-led training, courseware, and innovative training equipment. ADA currently operates two CAE-built FFSs - one Leonardo AW139, one Bell 412 FFS - and has 2 CAE-built FFS on order, including the new ERJ145 FFS. The sale of the Embraer ERJ145 FFS was included as part CAE's press release dated December 7, 2016.
