Doctrine and Standards Panels Now on SAFE Symposium Channel

Luncheon Address by FAA AFS-800 Manager Also Online

The Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) announces that high definition video of the Training Doctrine and Standards Panels have been uploaded to the 2011 SAFE Symposium channel. Moderated by Wright Aviation Solutions President Robert Wright, the 47-minute Doctrine video features remarks by Michelle Summers-Halleran, Embry-Riddle Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Aeronautical Science; Jens Hennig, GAMA Vice President of Operations; and Travis Klumb, Cirrus Aircraft Flight Training Manager.

Each of these programs and others already posted, are the product of the Aero-News Network's Aero-TV group, who were in attendance for the entire event and shot over 20 hours of high-def video in order to document this pivotal event.

The 39-minute Standards panel, moderated by Designated Pilot Examiner and seven-time Master Instructor Pat Knight, features remarks by Eric Crump, Gleim Publications Aviation Editor; Tom Norton, Norton Aviation and Designated Pilot Examiner; and Dr. Kurt Barnhart, University Aviation Association President. Also available as a separate video is the luncheon address given by FAA AFS-800 Manager Mel Cintron. Cintron discusses FAA pilot training initiatives and invites AFS-600 Manager Van Kerns to the podium to say a few words.
