Local EAA Chapter 534 Gives Thanks To Outgoing President

Jodie Soule’ Led The Chapter For Three Years

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 534 presented a commemorative plaque to Jodie Soule’ for the three years she served as the chapter’s president.

The plaque was presented to Jodie by Steve Tilford, the chapter secretary, at their hangar located at the Leesburg International Airport in Leesburg, FL. on Saturday January 12.

On January 1, she turned over the gavel to Joel Hargis and became a member of the board of directors in charge of the chapter’s Young Eagle program. During Jodie’s tenure as president she strongly supported the chapter’s movement into Aviation Youth Education and took an active part in facilitating the Leesburg High School Spark program to visit the airport and explore job opportunities in the aircraft industry.

She also volunteered  each time there was a Young Eagle first flight event at the airport to take care of registering all the young folks and pilots as well a seeing that all the paperwork was completed.

Jodie’s tenure advanced the mission of the EAA Chapter 534 in Leesburg and she will still be with the chapter in the future to help wherever she can.
