Lancair Custom Built Partners With Trainer

Making Customers Safe -- and Insurers Happy

"In the air faster, back to the earth, safer" has been a Lancair slogan for many years, and thanks to an advanced flight training program, this motto is now more valid for Lancair Custom Built Aircraft [the kit business] than ever before.

Lancair has contracted High Performance Aircraft Training Inc. and its owner, Pete Zaccagnino, for flight training seminars at major air shows, as well as individual instruction around the world for all Lancair pilots.

Lancair's new company owner, Joe Bartels, described the new relationship as, "...the first step towards the implementation of a professional initial and recurrency training program that will not only make us better Lancair pilots, but should in the immediate future, allow for our owners to obtain insurance at a much more-affordable rate."

Sign up now for Oshkosh seminar:

The first flight training seminar will take place at AirVenture 2003 Oshkosh, and will be an all-day program for any Lancair pilot needing recurrency training. (An additional day in-flight will need to take place within 90 days after the seminar to complete the program.)

Cost is estimated at $200 for the Oshkosh seminar, and $900 for the day in flight.
