Appareo Releases Stratus 4 ADS-B Receiver

Updated Model Integrates Apple Find My, G-Force Meter, Color Touchscreen

Appareo, a Fargo, North Dakota-based provider of innovative electronics and software solutions for aerospace, announced the introduction of its new Stratus 4 ADS-B receiver. It is designed to enhance situational awareness and cockpit safety, deliver critical flight data, real-time alerts, and freedom for pilots to always be ahead of the weather, traffic, and even the unexpected.

The new Stratus 4 is the only standalone receiver to offer Apple Find My integration along with a G-Force Meter, and a full-color touchscreen device. Touchscreen features can be updated with a firmware release as new features get added. It also enables tool-free replacement of the rechargeable battery.

The Stratus 4 boasts seamless connectivity and integration with a broad range of EFB apps for both iOS and Android devices. These include Stratus Insight, ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, FlyQ, WingXPro, and many others.

Kris Garberg, President of Appareo Aviation said, “It’s great for pilots to have all of this reliable information in an easy-to-see and use device,” said “We set out to design the most feature rich ADS-B on the market and the team delivered.”

Stratus 4 features include:

  • Apple Find My Integration
  • Full Color Touchscreen
  • G-Force meter
  • Subscription free weather
  • Dual-band ADS-B traffic
  • Built-in AHRS
  • WAAS GPS
  • Flight Data Recorder
  • Tool-free battery replacement

The Stratus 4 is the fifth-generation of the portable wireless receiver built on the original core technology designed and manufacture in North Dakota.

The Stratus 4 will be available for order and shipping in September 2025.
