Erickson Air-Crane Announces MRO Contract With Helicopter Transport Services

Will Modify Tail Boom And Pylon Assemblies On CH45B Aircraft

Erickson Air-Crane Incorporated, a provider of aviation services to a diverse mix of commercial and government customers, and the manufacturer and operator of the powerful heavy-lift Erickson S-64 Aircrane helicopter, announced Monday that it has received a contract from Helicopter Transport Services (“HTS”) to perform modifications and upgrades on seven CH54B tail boom and pylon assemblies.

“This contract with Helicopter Transport Services reflects Erickson's ongoing commitment to leveraging our expertise to capture growth in the maintenance, repair and overhaul market. Erickson offers a unique, integrated solution that combines engineering, technical, manufacturing, supply chain and operational expertise.”

Udo Rieder, Chief Executive Officer of Erickson, commented, "This contract with Helicopter Transport Services reflects Erickson's ongoing commitment to leveraging our expertise to capture growth in the maintenance, repair and overhaul market. Erickson offers a unique, integrated solution that combines engineering, technical, manufacturing, supply chain and operational expertise."
 
The total value of the contract is approximately $1.5 million, and advanced engineering and technical work is already underway. The Company noted that modifications and upgrades performed by Erickson will extend life limits on critical components.
