First All-Electric SR20 Delivered

ANN Sponsor Cirrus Design said, "In the beginning there was the SR20, and it was good.  But accolades received from the all-electric SR22 inspired Cirrus to do the same with their entry-level model. And now the SR20 is, well, even better."

Cirrus delivered the first production model of the reengineered SR20, Version 2.0, to the 907th Flight Squadron, an aero club based in Jamison (PA). This is the 907th second purchase of a SR20, as the group wanted to upgrade from an earlier model off the production line. Chuck Price, representative for the 907th remarked, "There are many unexpected small improvements, like the HID light and new cowling, along with the electrical system. It runs like a dream and it flies like a dream. I couldn't be more pleased!"

Alan Klapmeier, President and Cofounder of Cirrus stated, "It is our goal to seek customer value in every decision we make.  Certainly, the all-electric SR20 is a result of such thinking. We hope that the Flight Squadron enjoys their Version 2.0, SR20 as much as they have enjoyed their first."
