Career Fair Returning To NBAA-BACE

Last Year’s Inaugural Exceeded Expectations

The NBAA will host a second Career Fair to connect companies with top industry talent at this year’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE).

In our new age of digital-first recruiting, opportunities for actual in-person connections with qualified job seekers are rare but very valuable for both parties. In business aviation this is even more important because interpersonal skills are at the heart of what business aviation companies provide for their clients. And very often, staff turnover and knowledge of job openings depends on word of mouth for referral opportunities for finding staff.

Job seekers at all levels are invited to the Career Fair but most attendees are already established in the industry and looking for their next career opportunity. These are the types of candidates most in demand by recruiters looking to fill the workforce pipeline as veterans approach retirement age.

Jo Damato, CAM, SVP of Education, Training, and Workforce Development at NBAA said, “Last year’s inaugural Career Fair exceeded our expectations. Some candidates even received job offers on-site.”

“We expect a couple of hundred job seekers to attend this year’s Career Fair, so this is a big opportunity. To get the most out of it, we recommend that employers send experienced recruiters rather than relying on their people who are already attending NBAA-BACE,” she added.

NBAA-BACE will be held Oct. 22-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport (KHND).
