GA Terminal At Yeager Airport Slated For Upgrade

Remodeling Project Open For Bidding

At a meeting of the governing board of Yeager Airport in Charleston, WV, Wednesday, airport manager Rick Atkinson said that a remodeling project for the airport's GA terminal is open for bidding, with a deadline of December 15th.

Atkinson said the terminal's makeover will include wood floors, new furniture, and flat-screen TVs, giving it a modern look. Radio station WCHS reports that Atkinson said that Yeager sees about 25 corporate flights per day, and the remodeled GA terminal will make a much better first impression on the business leaders and decision makers flying into the airport.

The airport has been undergoing several construction projects in recent months. Atkinson told the board that the airport is on track to have its second-best year ever. Once approved, the GA terminal remodeling is expected to take about three months to complete.
