Jet Works Air Center Names New Director Of Avionics

Rick Purcella Was Previously With Rockwell Collins

Jet Works Air Center in Denton, TX recently announced the appointment of Rick Purcella as their new Director of Avionics.

Purcella comes to the Jet Works Air Center from Rockwell Collins with over 30 years of aviation experience. A licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician, Purcella has previously held key positions as Avionics Sales Manager and Senior Avionics Systems Instructor/Senior Tech Writer for Rockwell Collins. Purcella’s career also includes experience with Serv Air/Raytheon E-Systems, National Air Transport, Northrup Worldwide Aircraft Service, Inc., and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company.

In his new role with Jet Works Air Center, Purcella will be responsible for their state of the art avionics department as well as new product development. Purcella and his team provide quality avionics installations, upgrades, and warranty service for all major original equipment manufacturers.

He brings a wealth of avionics knowledge and is well known in the industry as a real go-to guy that gets the job done," said Trey Bryson, President of Jet Works Air Center. "Our avionics customers are sure to benefit from his experience and we are thrilled to have him on our management team."

Jet Works Air Center Avionics Department is an authorized dealer for Rockwell Collins, Honeywell – Bendix King, Universal Avionics, Goodrich, L-3, Garmin, Aircell, Airshow and various other manufacturers. The company performs extensive avionics installations, modifications, certifications and repair on all the latest avionics equipment from major manufacturers.
