Flight Schools To Hold Advocacy Day In Washington D.C.

Association Will Meet With Legislators To Discuss Business Issues

The Flight School Association of North America (FSANA) announced its first annual Flight Training Advocacy Day in Washington, DC will be held on September 17-18, 2024.

The purpose of the gathering will be to meet with members of Congress or their staff to discuss critical issues that impact flight training businesses. The flight training industry is currently going through a very dynamic time, and the FSANA is issuing a call to action for providers of flight training to take the time to come to Washington to try to raise awareness among legislators about the issues and challenges flight training schools must contend with.

The Association will have accommodations at the Washington Hilton, and there will be a reception and dinner with legislators and their staff at the Capitol Hill Club the evening of September 17. The next morning will feature opening remarks and a legislative briefing at the hotel. At 9:30 am the group will travel to the Capitol to meet individually with their legislators for prescheduled meetings.

The Association is urging members to

  • Mark calendars for the event
  • Set up appointments now to meet with House and Senate members
  • Register for the event

Details and registration are available on the Association website at the link below.
