Nextant Aerospace Announces Exclusive Sales Partnership With Action Aviation

Firm To Distribute Nextant 400XT Remanufactured Business Jet In Europe, The Middle East, India

Nextant Aerospace announced Monday at the Dubai Air Show that it has entered into an agreement that authorizes Action Aviation to become the exclusive sales agent for the 400XT in Europe, the Middle East and India. The Nextant 400XT, which received full FAA certification this year after a three-year development and flight testing process and saw its first deliveries last month, has a range of 2,005 nautical miles with four passengers and NBAA IFR Reserves. Its range enables flights originating in Europe, the Middle East and India to easily reach other major destinations throughout Europe and Asia.

“We are pleased to partner with Action Aviation for distribution of the Nextant 400XT in the key markets of Europe, the Middle East and India,” said Jay Heublein, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Nextant Aerospace. “Action Aviation has a proven track record of bringing the most innovative, high-performance business jets and helicopters to the marketplace. With offices in the United Kingdom, Dubai and Bangalore, India, the firm is ideally positioned to serve each of these three target markets and help ensure the success of the 400XT.”

“The 400XT’s exceptional range– 50 percent greater than that of the Hawker 400 on which it is based, combined with its speed and superior accommodations, makes it an ideal aircraft for the midrange flights which are typical of Europe, the Middle East and India,” said Hamish Harding, Chairman of Action Aviation. “At a cost about half that of competing new models, the 400XT provides a superior combination of performance, comfort and value and we are confident that it will become the preferred choice in private aviation. We are pleased that Nextant has agreed to authorize us to be this dynamic new aircraft’s exclusive distributor in these vital markets.”

The 400XT process employs a remanufactured airframe from the Beechjet 400A/XP aircraft, enhanced with new, state-of-the-art technology including the Williams FJ44-3AP turbofan engine, the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics suite, advanced electronics and completely rebuilt interiors. The remanufacturing process takes all life-limited components to zero-time status, either through replacement or complete overhaul, which effectively makes the 400XT a new plane in all material aspects even before the addition of advanced technology. The 400XT is considered to be a new type in Aircraft Bluebook. Further options include additional avionics features and cabin entertainment including high speed wireless internet.

Other performance improvements include a cruising speed of 460 knots; fuel efficiency improvements of 25-30 percent, depending on the length of the flight segment and noise compliance that exceeds Stage IV requirements. A number of orders have been received, including a 40-plane order from Flight Options LLC, the second-largest company in the private jet travel business.
