Egnatia Aviation Buys 12 Elixir Aircraft And 3 Options

Flight School Trains Pilots For Airlines Globally

Elixir Aircraft announced it has signed a contract with Greek flight training school Egnatia Aviation to provide 12 Elixir aircraft plus an option for 3 more. The school has trained pilots since 2006 and that now fly for more than 60 airlines around the world.

The signing took place at the European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal. Beginning in early 2025, the aircraft will be delivered in two batches of six and will be based at the Kavala-Amigdaleon “Lydia” Aerodrome (ICAO: LGKM) in Greece. Egnatia will be adding the twelve aircraft to its fleet of eighteen as it begins a fleet renewal program.

Dimitris Lymperakis, CEO of Egnatia Aviation said, "We are excited to add the Elixir aircraft to our fleet. This aircraft is a perfect fit for our operational needs, and we are confident that it will provide our cadets with an exceptional flying experience.”

Egnatia’s training team noted that it opted for the Elixir due to its cutting-edge technology and enhanced safety features such as the standard parachute and anti-explosion fuel tank. Its efficiency from low operating costs, lightweight structure and lower fuel consumption.
