Airbus Has a Good Week with a Firm Order for More Than 100 Aircraft

The purchase is a firm order for 157 additional A320neo series aircraft, split between 56 A320neos and 101 A321neos. 

The agreement is part of easyJet’s fleet renewal and upgauging plan, though it remains subject to shareholder approval. Given the tenor around their executive suites, it seems extremely likely easyJet will go through with the deal, since it would rejuvenate the fleet with more efficient, more eco-friendly, and modern aircraft.
